We are currently supporting one of our international clients in the search for a Data Platform Architect to join a global technology team developing next-generation automotive systems powered by AI and advanced analytics.
🔍 About the role:
As a Data Platform Architect, you will play a key role in designing and structuring the company’s data ecosystem, ensuring reliable, scalable, and secure data flows that support global business applications and AI use cases. You will apply Enterprise Architecture principles, following TOGAF guidelines to ensure consistency and alignment with business objectives. You will work closely with business stakeholders, data engineers, and IT teams to define data architecture standards, support integration projects, and ensure data accessibility and quality across environments. This includes data management, specifying capabilities, and choosing the right technologies to optimize the platform.
🧩 Key Responsibilities:
Support the definition and implementation of the global enterprise architecture and data platform, focusing on scalability, performance, and interoperability.
Collaborate with data engineers and developers to design data pipelines and integration flows between applications, APIs, and cloud systems, leveraging modern integration technologies.
Participate in data modeling activities, including the documentation of conceptual, logical, and physical data flows.
Ensure proper data lineage and traceability for AI-related applications in compliance with regulations such as the AI Act.
Work with IT and business stakeholders to translate data requirements into technical solutions, specifying capabilities that meet both functional and non-functional needs.
Contribute to defining integration and data exchange standards, evaluating technologies, and choosing the technology stack best suited for global use.
Promote reusability of data components and alignment with global data governance principles.
Participate in the selection and implementation of tools and technologies supporting the data architecture ecosystem.
✅ Required Qualifications & Skills:
Experience & Education:
Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
5–8 years of professional experience, including:
Hands-on experience in data architecture, engineering, or integration design.
Familiarity with data modeling (UML, ERD) or willingness to expand in this area.
Experience with data pipelines, APIs, or integration technologies.
Knowledge of systems such as SAP, MES, IoT, or SaaS platforms is an asset.
Understanding of data management frameworks, governance, and data quality.
Strong communication and collaboration skills with both business and IT teams.
Proactive and structured approach, with openness to learning and developing new capabilities.
Fluency in English is required.
