Supply Chain Solution Architect

We are currently seeking an experienced Supply Chain Solution Architect for a long-term engagement with one of our key international clients. This is a full-time position based in Kraków, offered in a hybrid work model. You will play a key role in defining and implementing enterprise and solution architecture within a global supply chain environment.

🔍 About the role:

As Supply Chain Solution Architect, you will be responsible for developing architecture strategies, designing scalable solutions, and ensuring alignment between business needs and IT systems across complex supply chain operations. You will work closely with global stakeholders, architecture boards, and project teams to deliver architecture that meets performance, compliance, and cost-efficiency standards.

🧩 Key Responsibilities:

• Design and manage the architecture landscape for the Supply Chain domain, including definition of domain capabilities and supporting software solutions.

• Contribute to the IT strategy roadmap, aligning supply chain initiatives with the broader enterprise architecture.

• Collaborate with business stakeholders and IT leads to drive architectural decisions supporting operational and transformation goals.

• Deliver architecture expertise for major supply chain projects such as S&OP, transport management, WMS, or just-in-time/just-in-sequence (JIT/JIS) systems.

• Define solution architectures, ensuring quality, standardization, and consistency with global architecture principles and security policies.

• Lead the specification of interfaces and ensure data models are coherent with the organization’s global architecture framework.

• Maintain architecture documentation, including capability maps, solution flows, integration standards, and compliance guidelines.

• Promote and enforce architectural standards and best practices across project teams.

• Participate in architecture governance activities and knowledge-sharing processes within the Supply Chain domain.
  

✅ Requirements:

• Minimum 10 years of experience in IT architecture, with a strong focus on large-scale Supply Chain systems (e.g., planning, scheduling, transport, warehouse management, JIS/JIT).

• Proven track record in designing enterprise and solution architecture in complex, international environments.

• Proficiency in architecture frameworks such as TOGAF, ArchiMate, and modeling techniques (e.g., UML).

• Experience with integration protocols (e.g., EDI, APIs, file-based integration).

• Knowledge of database technologies, SAP, SaaS/IaaS, and IoT/Edge architectures.

• Familiarity with TCO analysis, RFP preparation, and interface design impact assessment.

• Excellent analytical thinking and the ability to simplify and present technical concepts to diverse audiences.

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, capable of working in cross-cultural, fast-paced environments.

• Proactive and self-driven, with a continuous improvement mindset.

• Fluent in English (written and spoken); additional languages are a plus.
