RSB Automotive Consulting is currently supporting one of our key clients – a global Tier 1 supplier – in building a team of ADAS Calibration Engineers for an upcoming project launching in Krakow. This role is ideal for those who enjoy hands-on work with test vehicles and want to play a direct role in shaping how modern driver assistance systems behave in real-world scenarios.
🔍 About the project
You’ll be part of a team responsible for calibrating Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS) in production vehicles. The main goal is to fine-tune feature performance – such as Adaptive Cruise Control, Emergency Braking, and Driver Monitoring – to align with brand-specific driving preferences and regional requirements. Whether it's tuning for a sporty response or a more conservative driving style, your input will make a measurable difference in the final product.
🛠 Key Responsibilities
Calibrate ADAS features based on vehicle behavior, target customer profiles, and market needs
Define, adjust, and validate calibration parameters
Analyze test logs and provide feedback to software development teams
Support initial setup and iterative tuning of selected systems
Prepare documentation and calibration files for software releases
✅ Who we’re looking for
Engineers with hands-on experience in ADAS calibration and testing
Strong understanding of how ADAS features (ACC, AEB, LKA, etc.) behave and interact
Experience in test driving vehicles and adjusting system parameters accordingly
Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret log data
Comfortable working on-site in Krakow throughout the duration of the project
Team players who can also work independently when needed
🎯 Nice to have
Familiarity with tools such as CANape, CANoe, D-Space, Matlab/Simulink
Basic understanding of software development processes
Experience working with different OEM expectations and calibration profiles
⚙️ Example features to be calibrated
Longitudinal control: AEB, FCW, Adaptive Cruise Control (Stop & Go), Speed Limiter
Lateral & safety features: Blind Spot Detection, Lane Change Assist, Rear Cross Traffic Alert, TSR
Interior systems: Driver Monitoring System (DMS), Child Presence Detection
