We are looking for an experienced IT Infrastructure Engineer with strong expertise in Active Directory to support and maintain our enterprise IT environment. The role focuses on directory services, client management, end-user support, and software deployment while ensuring system security and operational stability.

Work type: 80% remote, 20% in the client's office in Hamburg

Project duration: 2 months - 20 hours per week

Responsibilities:

• Administration and maintenance of Active Directory and domain services

• Creation and management of user accounts, groups, computer accounts, and organizational units

• Assignment of user roles and permissions based on access requests

• Troubleshooting system and hardware/software issues

• Execution of performance, problem, incident, and change management processes

• System monitoring and performance control

• Analysis of functional user requirements

• Support for clients and peripheral devices

• Identification and rollout of software updates, patches, and service packs

• Monitoring and installation of Windows updates

Requirements:

• Proven experience in Active Directory administration

• Strong knowledge of Windows client/server environments

• Experience in IT support (1st/2nd line)

• Understanding of incident, change, and problem management processes

• Experience with software deployment tools

• Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills

• Good documentation and communication skills

• Ability to work independently and in a team
