Hardware Engineer (Defence/Military Systems)

We are supporting a leading client from the defence sector, focused on the development and integration of advanced military systems and we're looking for a Hardware Engineer.
The role is dedicated to engineers with proven experience in defence projects, working on hardware development in safety-critical and mission-critical environments.
Responsibilities
Design and development of electronic hardware systems for military applications
Analysis and definition of system and hardware requirements (based on defence standards)
Participation in system integration and validation activities
Cooperation with system, software, and test teams within complex system environments
Support of verification & validation (V&V) processes
Preparation of technical documentation in line with defence standards
Troubleshooting and root cause analysis of hardware-related issues
Participation in design reviews and technical decision-making
Requirements
Minimum 3–5+ years of experience in hardware engineering within the defence sector
Proven experience in military projects (defence only – mandatory)
Strong background in electronic design (analog/digital) and embedded hardware systems
Experience with requirements engineering
Experience with military / defence standards
Understanding of system engineering principles
Experience in integration and validation of complex systems
Ability to work in structured, process-driven environments
Fluent English (B2+)
Ability to obtain security clearance
Nice to have
Experience with communication systems / radar / EW systems, ruggedized hardware design and safety-critical systems
Knowledge of MIL-STD / NATO standards and cybersecurity in embedded systems
Experience in international defence programs
