We are supporting a leading client from the defence sector, focused on the development and integration of advanced military systems and we're looking for a Hardware/Software and Requirements Engineer.

We are looking for experienced engineers with a background in defence projects, who want to work in mission-critical, highly regulated environments.

Hardware Engineer

Responsibilities

• Design and development of electronic hardware systems for military applications

• Analysis and definition of system and hardware requirements (based on defence standards)

• Participation in system integration and validation activities

• Cooperation with system, software, and test teams within complex system environments

• Support of verification & validation (V&V) processes

• Preparation of technical documentation in line with defence standards

• Troubleshooting and root cause analysis of hardware-related issues

• Participation in design reviews and technical decision-making

Requirements

• Minimum 3–5+ years of experience in hardware engineering within the defence sector

• Proven experience in military projects (defence only – mandatory)

• Strong background in electronic design (analog/digital) and embedded hardware systems

• Experience with requirements engineering

• Experience with military / defence standards

• Understanding of system engineering principles

• Experience in integration and validation of complex systems

• Ability to work in structured, process-driven environments

• Fluent English (B2+)

• Ability to obtain security clearance

Software Engineer

Responsibilities

• Development of embedded / low-level / system software for military systems

• Implementation based on system & software requirements

• Integration with hardware and system components

• Participation in verification & validation (V&V)

• Debugging and performance optimization

• Collaboration with hardware & system engineering teams

Requirements

• 3–5+ years in software engineering within defence projects

• Proven experience in military projects (defence only – mandatory)

• Strong experience in C / C++ and RTOS / Linux embedded

• Experience with hardware-software integration

• Working with military standards

• Understanding of system engineering principles

• Fluent English (B2+)

Requirements Engineer

Responsibilities

• Definition, analysis and management of system requirements

• Translation of stakeholder needs into technical specifications

• Ensuring traceability across system, hardware and software

• Support of verification & validation processes

• Close cooperation with system, hardware and software teams

Requirements

• 3–5+ years in requirements/system engineering in defence

• Proven experience in military projects (defence only – mandatory)

• Hands-on experience with requirements tools and complex systems (hardware + software integration)

• Experience with military / NATO standards

• Strong understanding of system lifecycle (V-model)

• Analytical mindset & structured approach

• Fluent English (B2+)

Nice to have

• Experience with communication systems / radar / EW systems, ruggedized hardware design and safety-critical systems

• Knowledge of MIL-STD / NATO standards and cybersecurity in embedded systems

• Experience in international defence programs
