Job Posting: Senior Mobile Developer

Position Overview:
On behalf of our client in Austria, we are seeking an experienced Senior Mobile Developer to join a new project. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing a mobile application with both local and remote control capabilities, and will collaborate with backend developers to integrate REST API functionalities.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement a mobile application with local and remote (backend) control options.
• Work with Unity to create immersive experiences, incorporating VR features. The goal is to enable 360° video playback (with fast-forward and rewind options) as well as fully interactive content (materials provided).
• Collaborate with the backend team to integrate REST-based API functionalities.
• Optimize the app for mobile devices to ensure smooth performance.
• Conduct thorough testing and refine the app for handover.

Requirements:

• Unity Development: Minimum of 2 years of experience developing applications on the Unity platform.
• Android Development: Minimum of 2 years of experience developing mobile applications on Android.
• VR Development: Experience with VR development, preferably with Pico VR devices.
• Mobile Optimization: Proficiency in optimizing mobile applications for smooth performance.
• REST API: Experience with implementing and utilizing REST-based APIs.
• English Proficiency: Excellent English communication skills (written and spoken) for effective collaboration.
• Commitment to Quality and Timeliness: Strong dedication to meeting project timelines, delivering high-quality results, and writing maintainable, well-documented code.
