📣 We’re hiring: QA Automation Test Engineer (Mid-Level)

📍 Location: Gdańsk, Poland (On-site)
🕒 Contract: 6 months (with possible extension)

RSB Automotive Consulting is currently supporting one of our international clients in the search for a QA Automation Test Engineer to join their R&D team working on smart home and IoT solutions. If you’re passionate about embedded systems, automation, and high-tech devices - this is the role for you.

🔧 What you’ll do:

• Design, develop, and maintain automated test frameworks using Python (e.g. pytest)

• Collaborate closely with developers and engineers to analyze results and drive quality improvements

• Contribute to technical assessments to improve system performance, capacity, and reliability

• Work directly with embedded hardware on a daily basis — think floodlight cameras, smart doorbells, alarms, and more

• Take full ownership of your tasks and propose improvements proactively

• Cooperate regularly with international teams, especially R&D based in the USA

🧠 What we’re looking for:

• 2–3 years of hands-on experience in test automation for embedded or telecom systems

• Solid Python programming skills, especially for automated testing purposes

• Experience in building or working with robust test frameworks

• Strong sense of ownership, creativity, and a problem-solving mindset

• Fluent English and excellent communication skills

• Familiarity with UART, USB, IP, or similar hardware interfaces (nice to have)

• Experience in smart home, IoT, or consumer electronics domains (nice to have)
