Embedded Software Test Engineer (m/f/d)
📍 On-site position in Lüneburg, Germany
🕒 Full-time | Initial contract for at least 6 months, likely to be extended up to 1 year

Your Tasks:
Work within agile, interdisciplinary development teams
Perform functional validation and verification of embedded products across household, industrial, and mobility sectors
Independently design and execute software integration, qualification, and system tests
Prepare detailed analysis reports and test documentation, supporting root cause investigation and issue resolution
Design, build, and commission semi-automated test benches (Mini-HIL setups)
Contribute to the development of software tools for data acquisition and analysis
Your Profile:
Technical education (e.g., IT specialist, technician) or degree in electrical or computer engineering (University/FH/TH)
Strong understanding of analog and digital circuit design
Solid experience in testing embedded software systems
Programming skills in C++ or Python; experience with NI LabVIEW or NI TestStand is an advantage
Hands-on mindset and confidence when working with electrical components and test benches
(up to 280V AC / up to 500V DC / up to 150A DC) — this is a key part of the jobGood command of English (working language); German is a plus but not required
Quality-oriented, proactive, and self-organized way of working within interdisciplinary teams
Open-mindedness, eagerness to learn, and active participation in the developer community
Optional: Certification in software or system testing (e.g., ISTQB Certified Tester)
