As a Senior EMC Engineer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and compliance of our products with the highest industry standards by supporting the entire EMC design and optimization process.
About the project:
We’re looking for an EMC Filter Design Engineer to join an R&D team building next-generation modular power converter platforms based on wide bandgap semiconductors (SiC MOSFETs). Our converters serve a wide spectrum of DC and grid-connected applications – including energy storage, eMobility, power quality improvement, and renewable integration.
What you’ll do:
Design and optimize EMC filters (common-mode and differential-mode) for high-frequency power converters
Analyze and solve EMC issues at the schematic and PCB levels – participate in design reviews and propose modifications to prevent problems before testing
Support PCB design to minimize emissions and enhance noise immunity
Consider both hardware and software impacts (control algorithms, regulators, firmware changes) on EMC performance and adjust filters and solutions based on test results and design updates
Model and simulate filter and EMC behavior using tools like LTspice, PLECS, Ansys
Prepare and assist with radiated emission and immunity testing in EMC chambers
Monitor hardware changes (PCB revisions, evolving specs) and adapt EMC solutions throughout product development
Collaborate closely with hardware and software engineers to effectively resolve EMC challenges and ensure design consistency
Mentor junior team members as needed
What we’re looking for:
Degree in Electronics, Electrical Engineering, or a related field
Proven experience in EMC filter design as well as solving broader EMC challenges in schematics and PCB design
Proficiency in simulation and modeling tools (LTspice, PLECS, Ansys, or similar)
Strong understanding of signal and power integrity, and high-frequency circuit behavior
Practical knowledge of EMC testing procedures and lab equipment
Ability to analyze the impact of hardware and software changes on EMC performance
Proactive mindset, good communication skills, and fluent English
Experience in power electronics is a plus
Why this role is different:
You’ll influence product performance from concept through lab validation by working on filters, schematics, PCB design, and system-level EMC challenges
You’ll work in a fast-paced R&D environment using cutting-edge technology
You’ll apply your EMC expertise in a comprehensive way—across hardware, software, design, and testing
If you have deep EMC knowledge and want to apply it broadly in innovative power electronics projects, we’d love to hear from you!
